P-Styles - La Real & Inner Sanctum EP

The 28th release from Lung Filler Records is the 'La Real & Inner Sanctum EP' by P-Styles. Merging the boundaries between tech-house and techno P-Styles conjures up two driving original tunes coupled with remixes from Alex Grekov, Skelta, Electronic Beach, Mass Digital, Paul D Lewis, Monktec and Th Moy to form a strong and varied 9 track EP.

La Real works a classic techno arpeggio line over fast paced and tightly programmed percussion. Noise hits and echos add depth to the track, which changes across the arrangement.

Inner Sanctum works a tight groove over a repeating bassline that keeps the track moving. While the top lines of percussion move throughout and dark pads modulate and pan across the mix.

Alex Grekov works classic techno sounds across his remix of La Real while his sampling of the original line give a more modern twist to the track.

Skelta works a dark spacious sound into the background of a strong kick and tight techno/minimal grooves. Giving his remix of La Real a a more spaced out trippy feel.

Electronic Beach works noisy percussions and sidechaining textures into his remix of La Real. The arrangement is smooth with changes to the depth of the track throughout.

Mass Digital uses the original pad sounds and textures from Inner Sanctum, which provide the ground work for a new groove and arrangement with his remix of Inner Sanctum.

Paul D Lewis works dark lo fi groans and textures into his remix of Inner Sanctum. His signature groans and synth stabs give a haunting feel to this minimal take on the track

Monktec works a modulating bass sound over new percussion and textures to form the basis of his remix of Inner Sanctum. His heavily stripped back minimal take on the track makes use of the original pads to add a new dimension to his parts.

TH Moy starts his remix of tight drum sounds and the original pads and textures. Before twisting the track round into a more melodic and almost uplifting progressive take on Inner Sanctum.
