LUNG024 - Fendler - 2011 EP

Fendler's EP '2011' will be the 24th release for Lung Filler Records. Fendler has created an uplifting progressive house track with elements of percussive tech and deep-house. As well as the Original mix, Radio edit and Extended mix, the EP also features a warm laid back progressive remix by Electronic Beach, and a more driving yet spacious techno remix from P-Styles.

Original Mix

The original starts off with soft synths and percussion. It has sound effects reminiscent of waves hitting a warm sandy beach. The sound design and soft chords gradually develop into a teasing house groove. The track swells and contracts in dynamics and textures for an ever-changing feel. The beat gradually fades before re-entering with even more pace and energy. There is also an extended mix more suited to longer development and a radio edit.

Electronic Beach Remix.

Electronic Beach starts with a kick drum and wet sounding percussive synths. He adds his own style of warmth with his modulating pads and side-chained synths. The track evolves gently, adding new percussion, pads and a new snare. The overall feel of the track is tame with an effortless groove that builds progressively. Electronic Beach finished the remix with a filtered kick drum and his warm pad sounds.

P-Styles

P-Styles starts his remix with a DJ friendly intro and quickly adds pace with the side-chained percussion, off beat hi hat and synth blasts. He also adds his own take on the chordal pattern from the original as well as adding his own white noise blasts and other textural synth hits. There is also spoken words in the track similar to early nineties house music, which works really perfectly with the progressive techno style . To bring the track to an end P-Styles fades out the driving bass and filters down the chords, so that he is left with a hi paced DJ friendly outro.
