Couch Lock's debut on Lung Filler Records the 'Carbon EP' will be the ninth release for DivKids own record label. The EP consists of the original track and three remixes, all fitting snugly into the dark minimal techno realms of dance music.

Original
The original track is dark, with a pulsing growing sense of space and depth throughout. The atmosphere is vast and spacious while the percussion is hard hitting and always pushing the track forward. Intense vocal-like tones jump out of the speakers before retreating into the lush reverberant space in the track.

Mko DJ
Mko DJ keeps the original sense of space and works new grooves and sounds into the mix. Using the resonant synth drones from the original, he creates a new sound while retaining plenty of parts from the original. The arrangement keep the track moving through different sounds and textures, while changing percussion keeps things moving.

Minimum
Minimum starts his remix with modulating delay hits that stutter and glitch on top of a rich soundscape of textures and glitches. The track kicks in with a strong off-beat bass and tightly programmed percussion. Varying textures and drones work through the track before the tuned percussive sounds rise to the front of the mix.

Monktec
Monktec sticks close to the original track, using similar textures and drones working throughout the mix. New hits and swells colour the atmosphere while tightly programmed hi hats and percussion evolve through the arrangement. Delay hits provide the final touches ping ponging around before retracting into the reverberant space.
