DivKid is releasing his second EP with the the appropriately named 'Kablam'. This single will be the second release for electro record label Lung Filler Records.

The original track consists of a relentless beat that occupies a wonky and often spontaneous bassline. The track is made up of pitch bent chords that throw themselves across a huge 3 octave range, while constantly changing and dropping to then occupy a small range of only a tone. The impulsive drops and cheeky drum fills break the track up nicely.

Alex Grekov's 'Smoke in the City' Remix is a more stripped take on the track, that builds up a steady groove. While the entire track is less chaotic than the original, it still holds as much energy and pace. The white noise blasts and varied textures ensure that it lives up to it's remix name.

KANEDUBSTEP'S Dubstep remix starts off brutal, only to get heavier. He uses samples from the original and mangles them to fit his angry and aggressive style. There is a large heavy metal influence throughout the track. This is evident with it's heavy but controlled low end, aggressive mid range and an intricate high end.

Electronic Beach has created a gentle atmospheric piece of gorgeous electronica. He creates textures and space which he then builds grooves into. Although not aimed at the dance floor the track can be as relaxing as it is moving depending on your mood. He seamlessly intertwines parts of the original into his slower paced take on Kablam.
