DivKid - Skeleton EP
The Skeleton EP will be the 36th release for Divkid on his own label Lung Filler Records. The track marks 1 year of DivKid with an original track and EP each month. The EP features the original mix and radio edit along with remixes from HAS!, Deep Infect and Paul D Lewis.
The original track builds a DJ friendly intro of crisp drums and filter chords hits hinting at the main hook of the track. The track soons whips up deep growling bass, vocal filtering, french house chord pads, and dirty glitch sounds all cut up and arranged into a Brazilian style electro house monster!
HAS! sticks with the original themes and conjures up a filthy electro remix of the original. Featuring a mix of original sounds and new synth lines that hit hard with big bass, beat repeats and chord swells.
Deep Infect take the track in a new direction with a funky tribal feel for their tech-house remix. The track builds smoothly across the arrangement and features live drum fills, developing percussion and jackin bass.
Paul D Lewis strips things back with his 'Bone Shaking' remix. His techno take on the track builds the subs and drones with gritty lo fi sound effects and dark vocal groans. His dirty drum sounds push the mix forward.
