Bonn Lewis - This Is The Bit EP
The 35th release for Lung Filler Records will be the new EP 'This Is The Bit' from Bonn Lewis. The EP features the original filthy electro track and radio edit, along with remixes from E-Cologyk, Reverend Pariah, HAS!, P-Styles and Alex Grekov.
The original track consists of a driving, filthy bass hook. Modulating synth layers develop through the track along with the pulsing chord hits. This is all arranged and coloured around the robotic 'This Is The Bit' vocal.
There is also a radio edit which strips away the DJ friendly intro and outro.
E-Cologyk introduces his remix with a more tech driven house beat before introducing elements of the original track. He Re-works the chord progression and introduces new pad sounds, before going out all filthy brazilian electro.
Reverend Pariah Sticks with the original theme and also drives his version of the track with a filthy bass. He sticks with electro tempo, but skips snare hits to give a dubstep swagger to the track.
HAS! goes balls out dirty with his remix. Featuring plenty of nasty cut up synths and distorted bass hits; his remix is sure to hit the dancefloors hard!
P-Styles delivers a perfect blend of techno and house with his remix. Driving the track forward to tightly programmed percussion and offbeat synth hits.
Alex Grekov mixes up electro sounds from the original parts with his old skool techno sound. The arrangement is smooth with long builds and developing percussion lines.
