PRESS RELEASE - Ell-Er Ultra EP


The Ultra EP by Ell-Er features the first single to be taken from the forth-coming debut album "Shine Fade Lost" to be released in July with Lung FIller Records. The Ultra EP features the original stripped back tech-house single 'Ultra' along with a remix from Fred White.

Ell-Er starts the track with a laid back tech-house groove that builds smoothly in textures and dynamics. Using slightly different swing amounts, he gets some great varied grooves and flams into his percussive beats. He builds the intensity and dynamics throughout the song with bongo and congo patterns, chord stabs and some great beat repeats.

Fred White adds his own tuned percussive elements to his remix, along with fast paced hi hats and house style percussion. In contrast he creates a more on older classic style techno bassline which works really well with the samples from the original track. The track builds and releases in a similar way to the original.
